At the Impact Table, our promise to you is to consistently provide you with opportunities for leadership and personal growth beyond the typical business setting. And that’s exactly what we’re doing in our upcoming Listening Intelligence for Women in Impact assessment and workshop.
We’ve teamed up with the team from LQ: Listening Intelligence to bring the ECHO™ Listening Assessment - the world’s first and only scientifically validated assessment that measures how people listen (not just how they behave or speak). Through our Listening Intelligence for Women in Impact offering you’ll take the ECHO™ Listening Assessment which takes 5–8 minutes to complete, and then gather with other Impact Table Members and listening and communication expert Katie McCleary to receive a greater understanding of your ECHO™ Listening Profile and how to leverage it for greater leadership. The assessment generates a profile of personalized insights into how you process, prioritize, and respond to information—revealing both communication strengths and blind spots.
Listening is one of the most underestimated strategic skills in business and impact. It’s the foundation of exceptional, inclusive leadership, client and constituent trust, high-performing teams, and business, revenue, and impact growth conversations. We spend about 55% of our workday listening, yet most of our communication training is focused on speaking. We’ve been equipping people all wrong on how to listen.
Listening is a brain-based function, and no two brains are alike. The assessment will help you understand the kind of information you naturally listen “to” and “for,” and how you apply the information you hear. This increased awareness of individual listening habits will give you greater insight to better lead teams, connect with others, and grow your impact
