About Impact Table Visionary Speaker Sessions

Too many women in social impact are under-resourced and under-supported, navigating their leadership and impact journey alone, or in a silo.  We know, doing the world’s most important work isn’t a solo gig.  One way we can stop patching together a leadership journey built on trial and error and instinct alone is to listen and learn from others share the truth behind how they’ve navigated own leadership and impact journey, and share about our own experiences.  Through Impact Table Visionary Speaker Sessions, we remove the veil and the misconceptions of what it takes to lead an impact journey that truly transforms lives and we inspire and equip Impact Table members to elevate their own leadership.

About Anne and Rachel

Anne Descalzo and Rachel Zillner have a long history of partnering to create innovative change and thriving workplace cultures. From their executive roles in community banking to countless hours of volunteer leadership in Northern California’s business community, they’ve worked together to help shape successful teams and drive positive impact throughout communities.

In the summer of 2019, Anne and Rachel came to the same conclusion: they wanted to see their values in action in a workplace that fit the culture they dreamed of. They loved seeing the impact they made on customers and colleagues, but they wanted something more.

Together, they sat down on the floor of Rachel’s kitchen with piles of sticky notes, dreaming up the values they believed were at the core of their dream job. Hundreds of sticky notes later, they realized a company like that just didn’t exist yet. It’d be something they’d have to create. At that moment, Clutch was born. Without a widget to sell or one specific service in mind, Anne and Rachel launched Clutch with the three core values: Connection, Optimism, and Drive. Seeing the tremendous opportunity to support government agencies with operationalizing their programs and services, Anne and Rachel leaned into government contracting to grow their business dreams. They felt that by pairing humans who embodied those core values with clients undergoing great change, Clutch could change the traditional model of consulting, providing a new approach to driving client success and innovation.

Having learned to lean into the unknown, they’ve become comfortable with the uncomfortable, understanding that growth and transformation can be extraordinary gifts life offers. In time, Anne and Rachel expanded their portfolio of companies and fittingly added the unyielding values of Evolve and Curiosity. Together, the core values of curiosity, optimism, drive, the commitment to evolve, and connection form the acronym CODE-C and are a touchstone for each of The RADZ Group's sister companies, infusing integrity into daily operations and helping to sustain the very essence of The RADZ Group identity and purpose.
